Clinical supervision provides a safe atmosphere where health professionals can be reflective and conscious of their practice (Thomas & Isobel, 2019). This suggests that it is a form of reflective practice (Driscoll et al., 2019). In the context of professional practice, reflection is process through which a practitioner deliberately recollects their professional experiences and critically evaluates them for purposes learning (Kitchen, 1999).
